My favorite kitchen ever, in a house that is just barely 2000 square feet located near downtown Boulder.  Sa and I are convinced that people don’t need to live as large as they do in the USA — we’re currently making an offer to move to a home that is only 1700 square feet, which is tiny by American standards (unless you live in New York City).  Big space is big waste, and a well designed top-quality cottage is much cosier for a family than a pressboard mansion.  And it’s much more sustainable.
