I love summer, and in many ways it’s the best time to get out and ride.

But for me, cycling isn’t about getting to the end as quickly as possible. After all, it’s riding the bike where we spend most of our time. This mirrors a truth about life: that every moment is unique, precious and special — and at the same time, the ride never ends. The best thing we can do is to appreciate where we are right now, wherever that happens to be along the way.
